We don’t eat many chicken drumsticks because they contain too much saturated fat for us. Once in a while, they’re fun to eat and the kids love them. My husband got a bunch of drumsticks for his birthday dinner, and we had these leftover in the freezer, so we decided to mess around with the air fryer.
I really recommend air fryers for heart-healthy eating because they make food crispy on the outside without frying, without much oil. We thought the air fryer drumsticks turned out great!
I served the drumsticks with corn and avocado salad and boxed mac’n’cheese from Aldi.
