Cheeseburger salad is a great meal to take to the beach, and it was a huge hit with my kindergartener and preschooler. It’s basically a breadless Big Mac. I always love a nice dinner salad, especially when it tastes like fast food.
Cheeseburger Salad

Ingredients
- 8 cups shredded Romaine lettuce
- 12 ounces 96% lean round beef
- 4 ounces shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup onion (finely chopped)
- 2 Roma (plum) tomatoes (chopped)
- 20 dill pickle slices (chopped)
Copycat Big Mac Sauce
- ¼ cup light mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon sweet relish
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Mix all of the Big Mac sauce ingredients together and set aside in the fridge.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, spritz it with a little nonstick spray, and cook the ground beef until all the pink is gone. Set the beef aside.
- Arrange the lettuce, shredded cheese, ground beef, chopped onion, chopped dill pickle and Big Mac sauce in a bowl.
