
This simple orange baked fish recipe tastes like Christmas! It’s super-easy to make, and I love that combo of citrus and nutmeg — could be a light holiday dinner!
I served this with a side of Orange Sweet Potatoes, which also taste like Christmas to me.
Orange Baked Haddock

Ingredients
- 1 pound haddock fillets (rinsed and patted dry)
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 teaspoon canola oil (or other neutral-tasting oil)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350, °Fand lightly spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
- Rinse the fish, and arrange it in the baking dish. Season the fish lightly with the pepper and nutmeg.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the orange zest, orange juice, neutral-tasting oil. Pour over the fish.
- Bake the fish for 20 minutes or so, until the fish flakes easily with a fork (or a thermometer registers an internal temperature of145 °F .)
