
Vegetables always taste better when you sprinkle garlic on them and roast them in the oven. I served this with Pumpkin Mac and Cheese. Importantly, my kids ate it.
Roasted Broccoli & Cauliflower

Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 °F . Lightly spray a foil-lined baking sheet with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the broccoli, cauliflower, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder
- Spread the broccoli and cauliflower in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then give it a stir, put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes or so, until the vegetables are tender.
