I am not a doctor!!!

This website is not a source of medical advice!! Bear in mind that any random person with access to server space can create a website and put health information on the internet, but RANDOS ON THE INTERNET ARE NOT A STAND-IN FOR ACTUAL MEDICAL ADVICE FROM AN ACTUAL DOCTOR WHO HAS EARNED AN ACTUAL MEDICAL DOCTORATE. If you’re having heart trouble, or if you’re obese and trying to lose weight, or if you’re struggling with any other sort of medical/health problem, I hope to high Heavens you’re under the supervision of an actual professional who’s earned a medical doctorate and is in good standing with their medical board.

The internet isn’t a substitute for a doctor!!!!

The internet isn’t a substitute for a doctor!!!!

The internet isn’t a substitute for a doctor!!!!

The internet is full of crackpots and lunatics trying to make various dubious medical claims of questionable scientific merit, and I hope you won’t put your health in the hands of random internet crackpots. Anyone can make a website just as I did, and anyone can make any sort of claim about anything. I have absolutely no background or training as a dietician whatsoever. Always be wary of health advice you read online.

Links to other sites

Owner might link to other sites for fun/information, but Owner doesn’t have any control any of those sites. I don’t monitor those other sites, and I can’t control whatever the site owners decide to do. So if I post a link to another site, and the website owners go crazy and change that content to something super-offensive and heinous, be aware that I have no control over that and can’t be held legally responsible for it. When you click links to third-party sites, you do that at your own risk. When you leave my site and navigate to another site, the terms/rules/conditions here at cardiac-cuisine.com no longer apply.

Intellectual Property

You will not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the site. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms of service.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Owner harmless from and against any and all losses, claims, suits, actions, liabilities, obligations, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses) which Owner suffers as a result of third-party claims based on: (i) your negligence or intentional misconduct, (ii) your breach of any provision of the Terms of Use (including representation or warranty); (iii) materials prepared or provided by you including, but not limited to, any claims of infringement, or misappropriation of copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property or proprietary right, infringement of the rights of privacy or publicity, or defamation or libel; or (iv) death, personal injury, or property damage arising out of, or relating to, your obligations hereunder.

Hello, world!

I’ve always liked cooking, but we used to eat crap a lot — like buttery mashed potatoes, creamy sauces and rich desserts. Then, my husband had a heart attack at age 38, and it was a terrifying wake-up call! Not wanting to leave our children fatherless, we knew we had to make a major change. Following his heart attack, we needed to cut sodium, sugar, saturated fats (you know, most of our favorite foods!)
