Here’s a very healthy broiled cod recipe! I discovered Lemon Pepper seasoning as a new way to add flavor without adding any extra salt. The lemon really added a nice, sharp, bright flavor. Lemon pepper goes especially well with fish, and this broiled cod was super-easy to make.
Hey, about cod, Atlantic Cod is super overfished, so you should get Alaska Cod instead.
I served this with a side of Air Fried Parmesan Garlic Fries and it was a fantastic.
Lemon Pepper Broiled Cod

Ingredients
- 1 pound mild white fish fillet
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Give it a light spray with nonstick spray.
- Rinse the fish fillets, pat them dry, and lay them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the fish fillets.
- Stir together the lemon pepper, salt and paprika and sprinkle over the fish.
- Bake under the broiler for about 10 minutes, until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
- Drizzle the remaining 1 teaspoon of olive oil over the fish fillets before serving.
