healthy air fryer garlic parmesan fries

When you have a bunch of potatoes that are sprouting and need to be used up STAT, you make Parmesan Garlic fries in the air fryer. You can’t really go wrong with sprinkling cheese on top of anything.

I wouldn’t say air fryers are a must-have kitchen tool, but they’re certainly fun to play with! This is the exact air fryer I have, and it’s a lot of fun. It’s a fantastic way to get things crispy and crunchy without using much oil. (If you haven’t got an air fryer, try roasting the potatoes for about 30 minutes at 425F, flipping and stirring the fries once at the 15-minute mark.)

I served this as a side with Lemon Pepper Baked Fish.

Hello, world!

I’ve always liked cooking, but we used to eat crap a lot — like buttery mashed potatoes, creamy sauces and rich desserts. Then, my husband had a heart attack at age 38, and it was a terrifying wake-up call! Not wanting to leave our children fatherless, we knew we had to make a major change. Following his heart attack, we needed to cut sodium, sugar, saturated fats (you know, most of our favorite foods!)
