Maple Glazed baby carrots recipe

These maple glazed baby carrots were A HIT with my children. I lightly sautéed boiled baby carrots in a “caramel” sauce made from a little bit of butter, orange juice and maple syrup. A pinch of cinnamon added a little bit of extra flavor. These carrots were such a hit with my kids, I’ll be making them for Christmas dinner too!

I served these maple glazed baby carrots as a side dish with Parmesan Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Simple Stovetop Pork Chops.

Following his heart attack, we needed to cut sodium, sugar, saturated fats (you know, most of our favorite foods!)
