Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the green beans, put the lid on the skillet, and cook the green beans for about 3 minutes.
Add the garlic. Stir-fry the garlic and green beans for about 1 minute.
Add 2 tablespoons of water to the skillet. Put the lid on and allow the green beans to steam for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the green beans are tender.
Stir in a pinch of salt before serving.
