8ouncesspinach pasta (or any spaghetti of your choice)
1cupskim milk
1tablespoonflour
4 ounces Neufchâtel cheese
2ouncesParmesan cheese
5 ouncescooked ham or turkey bacon(chopped)
1cupfrozen peas (thaw before adding to sauce)
Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, omitting salt
Whisk flour into milk and bring to boil in a saucepan. Once the milk boils, turn the heat down to low and simmer for 2 minutes until the milk thickens. Stir in the cream cheese and parmesan cheese until incorporated.
Be sure to chop the ham (or turkey bacon) into small cubes.
Add the chopped ham and peas to the sauce, and toss with the cooked pasta.
